Premiere League giants Manchester City have successfully secured the signing of Ghana international Antoine Semenyo in the current transfer window.
The Black Stars forward joins the Citizens on a five-and-a-half-year deal from fellow Premier League club, AFC Bournemouth, keeping him at the Etihad Stadium until 2031. Semenyo reported to be worth £65 million
Semenyo has enjoyed a meteoric rise to become one of the Premier League’s most feared forwards.
Despite interest from several leading European clubs, Semenyo chose Manchester City as he looks to compete for major honours under manager Pep Guardiola. He is expected to provide depth and flexibility across City’s attacking positions.
Semenyo has been one of Bournemouth’s most consistent performers this season and remains an important figure for Ghana at international level. A switch to the Etihad Stadium would mark a significant step forward in his career.
The 25-year-old joined Bournemouth in January 2023 and quickly established himself as a key member of the squad. He has made 110 appearances for the Cherries, scoring 32 goals and registering 13 assists across all competitions.
This season, Semenyo has scored 10 goals and provided three assists in the Premier League, further underlining his growing influence in England’s top flight.
