Ghanaian defender Maxwell Woledzi has arrived in Tennessee, USA, to begin his career with Major League Soccer side Nashville SC.
Woledzi signed a deal to join the MLS side on a contract that will keep him at the club until 2028, with the option of a further year from Norwegian club Fredrikstad.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate ended his vacation in Ghana to join his new teammates as preparation commenced ahead of the 2026 campaign.
The 24-year-old was part of the team's early sessions at the Vanderbilt Health Training Center in Antioch before travelling to Florida to continue preparations.
Woledzi is expected to make his unofficial debut in the friendly against Chicago Fire on Tuesday, January 20.
Nashville will also face Colorado Rapids, Birmingham Legion, Columbus Crew and Lexington SC as part of pre-season friendlies.
The Ghanaian centre-back's first competitive game will be against Atletico Ottawa in the Concacaf Champions Cup on February 17.
Woledzi comes in with huge experience after a successful stint in Europe with FC Nordsjaelland, Vitoria Guimaraes and Fredrikstad.
