True Democracy have been fined GHS30,000 by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association for supporter misconduct during their Division One League match against Port City FC on January 4, 2026.
The Committee found the club guilty of causing an invasion of a designated restricted area by their supporters, contrary to Article 10(g)(vi) of the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols, 2025. True Democracy have been given 14 days to pay the fine.
The FA issued a strong warning to the club, stressing that any further breaches of matchday safety regulations would result in more severe disciplinary action.
The incident formed part of the disturbances that led to the temporary closure of Kukurantumi Ohene Park. This decision has since been reversed following further reviews by the Disciplinary Committee.
