Ghanaian centre-back Maxwell Woledzi made his first appearance for Major League Soccer side Nashville FC in their pre-season friendly against Chicago Fire.
The former Ghana youth international arrived in the United States to begin his career with Nashville last week, joining the team for their pre-season in Florida.
Having started preparations in Tennessee, the Eastern Conference side travelled to Florida to continue pre-season, lining up a series of friendlies.
Woledzi started against Chicago Fire before the entire squad was changed for a new eleven midway into the first half with Nashville down by two goals.
The game ended with Chicago Fire winning 4-1.
Meanwhile, Woledzi is already relishing the upcoming campaign following his move from Norwegian side Fredrikstad.
The Ghanaian defender will occupy the international spot on Nashville's roaster ahead of the 2026 MLS season.
Before moving to the United States, the Right to Dream Academy graduate featured for FC Nordsjaelland, Vitoria Guimareas and Fredrikstad.
