Rashad Musah believes Basake Holy Stars have enough quality and discipline at the back to handle the threat of Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah ahead of their Week 20 clash.
The Holy Stars coach is calm despite Amoah’s return to Kotoko on loan, insisting his defenders will not feel pressured going into Sunday’s game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Musah admitted that Amoah remains one of the most dangerous forwards in the league but stressed that his team is well prepared to deal with any attacking threat.
“Not at all I don't think there will be pressure on us on our defenders because of Albert Amoah. Even though we know how good he is he is a threat to every club in Ghana but we will always have a strategy to play against all the attackers they have,” he told Basake TV.
Holy Stars go into the fixture with just one win in their last three matches and are eager to improve their form as they battle to avoid relegation.
Kotoko, meanwhile, are also struggling after three games without a win, hurting their title hopes this season.
The match kicks off at 3:30 pm on Sunday.
