Eleven Wonders head coach Emmanuel Aidoo was lost for words on Sunday after his team suffered a 3-0 defeat to Young Apostles in the Ghana Premier League.
The loss on Matchday 21 meant that Wonders have not lost three consecutive matches in the division as their struggles continue.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Emmanuel Aidoo almost fell into silence as he struggled to find words to assess the game.
When he did find words, he simply said, “We lost. I don’t have to prolong my speech. We lost. I believe we should have won, but we lost.”
Probed further by journalists, Emmanuel Aidoo argued that he believes circumstances worked against his team on the matchday, leading to their defeat.
“We lost because of the circumstances around the game, the situation turned against us,” he said.
While the team remains stuck at the bottom of the Ghana Premier League standings, Coach Aidoo is not giving up. He insists his team will continue fighting until the end of the season.
“We keep on playing. We are working hard. We will continue playing. For me, nothing is impossible,” he added.
