Ghana international Antoine Semenyo is hoping to maintain momentum following an impressive start to life at Manchester City.
Semenyo, who joined the Sky Blues this winter has hit the ground running, scoring four goals in matches for the club. The Ghana international was on target when Manchester City played out a 2-2 draw with Spurs in a highly competitive clash on Sunday.
While expressing delight about his impressive start, the former Bournemouth star is hoping to maintain his fine form at the club.
“It’s important to hit the ground running. I feel I came here with the intention to continue being who I am. I want to get Man City fans off their seats when I'm on the pitch. It’s been a good start for me here and God willing it continues⦔ he said.
On the back of his outstanding performance, the Ghana international secured a high-profile move to Manchester City this winter, smashing Ghana and Bournemouth transfer records with £65 million move.
The Ghana international has now scored 12 Premier League goals between Bournemouth and Manchester City, marking his best ever season in the top-flight.
