Debibi United FC continued their strong form in Zone One B with a hard-earned 2-1 away win over former Premier League side Berekum Arsenal at the Golden City Park.
Debibi wasted no time in asserting control, with Kwadwo Antwi opening the scoring in the sixth minute before Clement Nketiah doubled the advantage six minutes later. Evans Ankamah pulled one back late for Arsenal, but the hosts could not find an equaliser. The victory takes Debibi United to 44 points from 18 matches, keeping them comfortably at the top of the Zone One B table.
In Zone One A, Real Tamale United fought back to earn a crucial 1-1 draw away to Bolga All Stars FC at Winkogo. After a goalless first half, Rashid Yakubu broke the deadlock for the hosts in the 71st minute. RTU responded through Samuel Lamptey, who struck late in the 88th minute to rescue a point. The result leaves RTU second in the standings with 33 points.
Elsewhere, Tamale City FC maintained their unbeaten run with a 2-1 comeback win over Yapei FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium. The Citizens now lead Zone One A with 40 points after 18 matches.
