Three prolific forwards have been recognised for their outstanding performances after Abubakar Lartey, Godfred Eshun, and Wisdom Jonas Manyina earned nominations for the NASCO Division One League Player of the Month award for January.
The trio delivered decisive contributions across their respective zones, driving their clubs’ strong starts to the year.
Inter Allies striker Lartey impressed in Zone Three, scoring four goals in five appearances while collecting two NASCO Player of the Match honours.
His clinical finishing and attacking movement provided Inter Allies with a consistent threat and helped sustain their competitive push during the month across league fixtures overall.
In Zone Two, Eshun mirrored that scoring prowess, netting four goals in four matches for Ebusua Dwarfs and securing one Man of the Match accolade.
His efficiency in front of goal strengthened Dwarfs’ promotion ambitions and highlighted his importance to their attacking structure.
Real Tamale United forward Manyina also enjoyed a prolific spell in Zone One, registering four goals in four outings and earning two NASCO Player of the Match awards.
The monthly honour recognises individual brilliance and consistency across Ghana’s second tier. The eventual winner will receive a NASCO 32-inch television set as reward for his excellence this season.
