Eleven Wonders’ relegation fears worsened after a heavy defeat to Vision in their Ghana Premier League Round 22 encounter on Friday at Swedru Stadium.
The visitors made a strong start and took the lead as early as the seventh minute when Faruk Mohammed converted from the penalty spot to put Vision ahead.
Eleven Wonders struggled to recover from the early setback, and Vision doubled their advantage in the 24th minute through another penalty, calmly dispatched by Mohammed Alidu to give the away side a 2-0 cushion at half-time.
Eleven Wonders attempted to respond after the break but lacked precision in the final third, failing to register a shot on target despite enjoying spells of possession. Vision remained organised defensively and looked dangerous on the counterattack.
The result was sealed in the 80th minute when Sheriff Mohammed Idrissu added the third goal, finishing off a well-worked move to complete a dominant performance by the visitors.
The defeat leaves Eleven Wonders rooted to the bottom of the table, their survival hopes fading, while Vision strengthened their position with a convincing away victory.
