Aduana FC forward Emmanuel Marfo has shared his delight after the team triumphed over Gold Stars in the Ghana Premier League on Friday.
The attacker scored and won the Man of the Match on the matchday, inspiring the Dormaa-based outfit to amass all three points from the Week 29 fixture.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Marfo described the victory as an important one, insisting that it will boost the team’s morale ahead of their MTN FA Cup semi-final clash against Nations FC next week.
“I think in the first half we had a tough match, but when we went into the dressing room, the coach had a talk with us, and we were able to come back and change the game after we switched our tactics. This win is going to boost our confidence for the FA Cup,” Emmanuel Marfo said.
The MTN FA Cup semi-final encounter between Aduana FC and Nations FC is scheduled for Friday, April 17, at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
The other semi-final game will be played between Dreams FC and Medeama SC on Saturday, April 18.
