Medeama SC midfielder Salim Adams has reacted to the team’s demolition of Asante Kotoko, arguing that the team went into the Ghana Premier League fixture very confident about taking all three points.
Adams was in action for the Yellow and Mauves on the matchday, bagging a brace and leading his side to secure the crucial 4-0 triumph over the Porcupine Warriors in the Week 29 fixture staged at TnA Stadium.
Speaking in his post-match interview after he was adjudged Man of the Match, Salim Adams disclosed that the team believed they could score four goals against Kotoko in the first half, even before kick-off.
With just five games to end the season, Adams insists Medeama SC will go into every match determined to take maximum points to ensure they are crowned champions.
“If you look at where we are in the league, we cannot let our guard down. Now everything is in our hands, so we go into every game confident to pick all three points.
“We will go for the three points in the rest of the games, and all five matches will be like finals for us,” Salim Adams said.
In the next round of the Ghana Premier League, Medeama SC will face off with Berekum Chelsea.
