Black Starlets have started preparations for their upcoming playoff match against Uganda at the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The team held a recovery session on Thursday after their impressive 3-1 victory over South Africa in their final Group D match on Wednesday.
Head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his technical team supervised the session as the players focused on regaining fitness ahead of the crucial encounter.
The recovery programme included light drills, stretching exercises and regeneration activities following the demanding contest against South Africa.
Morale remains high in camp after the victory, which saw captain Joseph Narbi score twice to inspire Ghana to all three points.
Despite the win, the Black Starlets missed out on a place in the quarter-finals after Algeria advanced through the drawing of lots following identical records between the two teams.
Ghana will now face Uganda in a playoff match with a place at the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar at stake.
The technical team is expected to intensify preparations in the coming days as the Black Starlets aim to keep their World Cup hopes alive.
