Ghanaian defensive midfielder Kofi Amoako has completed a move to German second-tier side Hamburger SV, with the 21-year-old signing a contract that runs until at least 2030.
Amoako successfully completed his medical and put pen to paper after HSV activated his â¬2 million release clause from Dynamo Dresden.
The talented midfielder turned down several other enquiries to join the Rothosen, who have been active in the market ahead of the new season.
The deal marks a significant step in Amoako's career as he moves to one of Germany's most historic clubs. HSV, who have been pushing for promotion back to the Bundesliga, see the young Ghanaian as a key piece of their long-term project.
An official announcement from the club is expected soon. Amoako becomes the latest Ghanaian talent to make his mark in the German football system.
