The Black Queens will continue their preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) with a friendly match against Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 3:30pm and forms part of the national team's training camp ahead of the continental tournament.
Coach Kim Lars Björkegren and his technical team are expected to use the fixture to assess the progress made during the ongoing camp in Accra, where the players have been working on various tactical and technical aspects of their game.
The match will also provide an opportunity for several players to stake their claim for a place in the squad as preparations for WAFCON gather momentum.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies are expected to provide a strong test for the Black Queens following another successful domestic campaign. The club recently secured the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League title and will represent Ghana at the CAF Women's Champions League WAFU B qualifiers in Burkina Faso later this year.
The friendly is expected to offer valuable match practice for both sides as they prepare for important assignments on the continental stage.
The Black Queens have been in camp in Accra as they intensify preparations for WAFCON under the guidance of Swedish coach Kim Lars Björkegren.
