Black Satellites will begin their quest for WAFU B U-20 Championship glory with a high-profile clash against rivals Nigeria in Côte d'Ivoire.
Ghana, drawn in a competitive Group B alongside Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Togo, will open their campaign on Monday, July 27, at the Lycee Scientifique Stadium in Yamoussoukro. Kick-off is scheduled for 14:00 GMT.
Head coach Maxwell Konadu's side will return to action three days later to face Burkina Faso on Thursday, July 30, at 18:00 GMT before wrapping up the group stage against Togo on Sunday, August 2, at the Stade Charles Konan Banny (CKB), with kick-off set for 14:00 GMT.
Group A comprises hosts Cote d'Ivoire, Benin and Niger, with the teams competing for places in the knockout stage.
The WAFU B U-20 Championship will feature all seven member associations of the West African Football Union Zone B and is expected to showcase some of the region's brightest young talents.
The tournament also carries added significance, serving as the qualifying competition for the 2027 CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, which Ghana will host.
Maxwell Konadu's side will therefore be eager to build momentum and make a strong statement against their regional rivals as they pursue both the WAFU B title and qualification for the continental championship.
