Ghana Premier League side FC Samartex 1996 have announced the departure of four players following the expiration of their contracts ahead of the 2026/27 season. Emmanuel Mamah, Samuel Tetteh, Kofi Agbesima, and Francis Gyetua have all left the club after their respective deals came to an end.

This is to inform our supporters and the public that players, Emmanuel Mamah, Samuel Tetteh, Kofi Agbesima and Francis Gyetua have departed the club following the expiration of their contract.

In a statement, the Samreboi-based club expressed appreciation to the players for their contributions during their time with the team.
“We wish to thank them for their services to the Samartex family and wish them well,” the club said.
The Timber Giants have also begun preparations for the upcoming campaign with changes to their technical team.
FC Samartex has confirmed the appointment of Nana Kweku Agyemang as the club’s new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
Sey Kweku Richard has also been named assistant coach of the first team and will additionally take charge of Team B as head coach.
The club is expected to continue restructuring its squad and technical setup as it prepares for another competitive Premier League campaign.
