Ghanaian forward Prince Owusu joins Slovakian club DAC 1904

Ghanaian forward Prince Owusu has completed his move to Slovakian topflight side FC DAC 1904. 

The 20-year-old penned a three-year to join DAC from Azerbaijani side FK Gabala in the summer transfer window.

Owusu scored seven goals and delivered three assists in 10 games to earn him the move to DAC, having spent only a year in Azerbaijan.

"I feel very happy that I signed a contract with DAC. I was attracted by the team's playing system and how the club works. I read something about its history, the exceptional fans and the approach it has towards the players. It all made me feel very good. For me, the team always comes first. I want to help the team and only then think about individual successes," he said after signing the deal. 

The highly-rated striker, who also plays as a winger, started his career at Nayan, a second division side in Ghana before leaving the country to Europe.

"Prince is a talented offensive player with a lot of room for further development. He has excellent individual skills, is dangerous in one-on-one play and can play in several positions in attack. This is exactly the profile we were looking for," said the club's sports director Jan-Pieter Martens.

Owusu will wear the number 30 jersey at DAC Streda.
