Clement Ansah, the 21-year-old Ghanaian central midfielder, has joined AS Trencin on a free transfer from Dunajska Streda.
Ansah’s move was completed on 13 August 2026, keeping him in Slovakia’s Nike Liga after his spell with Dunajska Streda. He has agreed a contract with Trencin running until 30 June 2027.
The transfer gives Ansah a new club at the start of the 2026-27 campaign, although he had not made an appearance in either the Nike Liga or the UEFA Conference League qualifying round before switching sides. His arrival comes as part of a domestic move between two clubs competing in the same Slovak league.
Born in Tema, Ghana, Ansah plays in central midfield and is right-footed. He stands 1.85m tall and joined Dunajska Streda from North Macedonian side FC Shkupi on a free transfer in August 2025.
His time at FC Shkupi followed a loan move to Turkish club Corum FK in February 2024. That spell ended at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season, when he returned to Shkupi before later moving to Dunajska Streda.
Ansah began his senior career with Ghanaian club Tudu Mighty Jet before joining Bofoakwa Tano in July 2023. He then moved to FC Shkupi in January 2024, beginning a sequence of transfers that has taken him through clubs in Ghana, North Macedonia, Turkey and Slovakia.
The transfer marks Ansah’s third club change since the beginning of 2024 and his second free move in succession. His contract at AS Trencin is set to run for the remainder of the 2026-27 season and into the following campaign.
The Ghanaian midfielder is now an AS Trencin player after completing his free transfer from Dunajska Streda.
