Karela United continued their perfect start to the 2026 Sompa Invitational Cup with a 1-0 victory over Aduana FC at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Thursday.
The Tamale-based side secured their second successive win in the pre-season tournament after edging Aduana in a closely contested encounter.
Both teams produced a competitive performance as they looked to claim maximum points, but Karela United held firm to secure another narrow victory.

The result means Karela United have won both of their matches at this year's tournament.
They began their campaign with a 2-0 victory over fellow Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea before overcoming Aduana FC in their second outing.
The two wins put Karela in a strong position as they continue preparations for the upcoming football season.
For Aduana FC, Thursday's result was their first defeat of the competition.
They had opened their campaign on Wednesday with a 2-1 victory over Young Apostles and were hoping to build on that result against Karela.
However, they were unable to find a way past their opponents and left the Coronation Park without a point.
The Sompa Invitational Cup is in its second edition and will run until August 16 at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
The competition is providing participating clubs with an opportunity to fine-tune their squads and build match fitness ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
