The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to host the 2026 FIFA Global Football Development Programme on Amateur Football Environment Analysis, bringing together key stakeholders and football development experts for a two-day engagement in Accra.
The programme will be held at the Alisa Hotel and will feature FIFA Technical Experts Ali Mwebe and Serame Ezekiel Letsoaka, who is responsible for Amateur Football in Africa.
The sessions will be delivered with support from the GFA Technical Directorate as stakeholders assess the current amateur football environment and explore ways to strengthen its development.
GFA President and CAF Second Vice President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku is expected to address the programme alongside the Association's General Secretary, Prosper Harrison-Addo.
The engagement will be Simeon-Okraku's first major conference appearance since chairing the 32nd Ordinary Congress of the GFA.
The two-day programme will provide an opportunity for stakeholders from across Ghana's football ecosystem to exchange ideas, share experiences and discuss practical strategies for improving amateur football.
The FIFA-led initiative is expected to focus on identifying key areas requiring attention within the amateur game and developing approaches that can support sustainable football development in Ghana.
