Management of Afropop musician Kelvynboy Burniton Music has announced the artiste is no longer under the music label.
In a statement released by the music label, it has been stated that Kelvynboy’s contract ended 8 months ago, but they continued to work with him as the company was undergoing auditing to decide the way forward for the two parties.
After auditing its structures and activities, the company decided to part ways with the Afropop singer and not trigger the part of the contract which makes room for an extension of 4 years..
“Following the audit, the company has considered the expired status of the agreement as well as the conduct of Kelvynboy during its tenure, and has decided not to trigger the option.
“Consequently, the company has decided to release Kelvynboy from the agreement and he has been duly notified of this decision. Accordingly, Kelvynboy ceases to be an artiste under the company and will no longer be associated with the company and/or the Bhim Nation brand.”
The company wished the artiste well in his future endeavours in the music industry.
This announcement of parting ways comes months after news made rounds that there was a rift between CEO of Burniton Music, Stonebwoy and Kelvynboy.
This allegedly led to the two artistes unfollowing each other on social media platforms.
