Contestants of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful brought their creativity and marketing skills to bear as they took turns Sunday night to advertise the various products of sponsors of the show.
Raising the curtains for Sunday’s performance was Bono East rep, Pena, who took to the stage to market products from DH Industries.
Posing as a late afternoon radio show host, Pena took her show outside the studio to the market place to advertise the different products from DH Industries, include Madar Washing Powder and Madar Parazone as well as other cosmetic and personal care products.
From the Savannah Region, Kasha mounted the stage next as the ‘saviour’ of what would have otherwise been a flopped birthday party of her friend but for her ‘intervention’. She joined the party bearing assorted products from Kasapreko.
Kasha brought joy to the party and used the opportunity to tell her friends about how Kasapreko Carnival is the perfect drink to spice up every occasion.
Enam from the Volta Region mounted the stage as a radio presenting hosting ‘market square’, a show offering platform for companies to advertise their products.
She took her time to tell her listeners about how delicious Ena Pa Mackerel and Sardine are, its health benefits, as well as where her listeners can make purchases of the product.
Reaching out to her audience in different Ghanaian languages including Ga and Ewe, DJ Enam took listeners through the numerous meals they can prepare with Ena Pa Mackerel and Sardine.
Ayisha from the Upper East Region to sell Carex products while teaching her customers and the public about the need to keep their hands clean at all times with Carex hand sanitizers.
She also educated them about the various uses of Camel Antiseptic, which kills 99.9 percent of germs, noting it can be used for washing and cleaning in order to get rid of germs.
Then came Western North’s Saah to market Sasso and Roma insecticide spray as the best on the market in killing all forms of insecticides, including mosquitoes, in homes and offices.
Saah highlighted how Sasso, Roma and Fecko sprays produced by Samara Industries kill mosquitoes. Saa who came on stage with her ‘husband’, advised him not to run out stock of any of the insecticide sprays because their effectiveness is unmatched.
Central Region’s Ekua marketed Ideal Milk and Milo produced by Nestle Ghana, and highlighted its health benefits to the human body.
Northern Regional rep Zara came on stage as a fabric seller to market GTP cloth to a potential buyer.
She took time to talk about the different GTP designs as well as its ability to stand the test of time and not fade no matter how many times it is washed.
At the end of the ninth week, Western North rep, Saah was adjudged ‘Star Performer‘ while Northern Region’s Zara won the ‘Best Costume’ title.
Central Region’s Ekua emerged ‘Best Behaved’ contestant, and Upper East Region’s Ayisha was adjudged ‘Miss Congeniality’.
Meanwhile, after nine weeks in the competition, Savannah Region’s Kasha and Bono East rep Pena were evicted, while two others previously evicted – Ashanti’s Serwaa and Ahafo rep, Afia got lucky as they were brought back into the competition.
Both Serwaa and Afia had the highest number of accumulated votes throughout their stay in the competition, and this gave them an edge over other evictees to be given another shot at possibly becoming 2019 Ghana’s Most Beautiful woman.
Ghana’s Most Beautiful airs on TV3 every Sunday at 8:00 p.m.
