Black Meteors attacker Evans Mensah will have to adapt to life in the Middle East for the next few years after he agreed to join Qatari side Al Duhail Sporting Club.
The promising winger joined the Asian side from Finnish top-flight side HJK Helsinki after agreeing personal terms with the club.
The former Inter Allies player signed a three-year contract with an option to extend for an extra year. The winger signed for the club on Monday, December 9, 2019 along with his representative, Omar El-Elter.
Many have questioned the young man’s decision to play in the Qatari league at such an early age, but Duhail have been impressive in their business and on the field too; a good project that could attract many players of Mensah’s age.
After the AFCON U-23 championship, Mensah was named Ghana best player after scoring two goals in the process and providing vital assists.
