Ghana’s inflation rate on year-on-year rose, influenced by food and transportation prices.
Annual inflation rose to 8.2% from 7.7% in October. This is after the country had recorded a 7.6%, the lowest since September 2013.
Professor Samuel Kobina Annim, Government Statistician said, “Inflation is predominantly driven by food and transportation, even though the contribution of transport went down to 12.3% from 12.9% in October.”
