Close to 60 small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) are participating in the December edition of Connect FM’s Western Trade Fair at the Jubilee Grounds.
The bi-annual fair is designed to help shoppers get quality items at an affordable price at one place.
The December edition is to save shoppers from the hassle that is normally associated with the festive season.
The fair creates a one-stop avenue where shoppers can get the basic necessities to celebrate Christmas.
On display at the Trade Fair are a variety of items ranging from clothes, hair products, jewelries, bags and accessories and shoes for all ages.
Exhibitors have also displayed handicrafts, traditional wears, baby products and many more.
Over 80 percent of the exhibitors are from the bunch that participated in the August edition.
This is largely due to the huge success the exhibitors said they recorded in that edition.
“At the last edition, I was able to make a lot of sales. Even after the fair, I still had people calling for me to sew for them. So, I have no doubt in my mind that I will record good sales this time also,” Doris Amenyo, Manager of McNOVA Clothing, said.
Director of Gifted Hands Aba Baisie Akutteh, who also participated in the last edition, was also hopeful of good sales.
“When I featured on TV3 the last time, I had calls asking about my products. Some people also came to my stand and said they saw me on TV3. So I will want you to promote this edition more on TV3.”
Other exhibitors shared similar testimonies and prayed for more sales.
Station Manager for Connect FM Nana Osei Asare assured the exhibitors that various forms of promotion are ongoing to draw the attention of prospective buyers to the fair.
The December edition of the Western Trade Fair started on Wednesday December 11 and will end on Sunday December 15.
