Friday night’s Showbiz360 on TV3 hosted by Giovani Caleb was definitely one for the records, one for the history books.
Consistently, the show has become the staple go-to place for a careful blend of good music, interviews, videos, performances, and entertainment news headlines.
From 9pm to 10pm every Friday, Ghanaians, and even Africans, the world over are glued to their television screens and Facebook to see what goodies the show has got in store for them. Showbiz360 has never failed them too.
Friday night’s show took the fun/entertainment a notch higher. It ended at the number one spot on Twitter for hours with back to back conversations on Facebook as well.
The show got Ghana talking because the Nana Tafregya Pallbearers, who have for some years taken the world by storm, made a grand appearance.
From their neatly dressed matching black suits to their well-choreographed dance routines, the group’s appearance was simply a delight to watch.
For many who may not know, Nana Tafregya Pallbearers, formed some 18 years ago consists of 100 members, with 5 percent of them being ladies. They have their managerial headquarters and legal teams in Kenya.
During their interactions with Giovani Caleb, Benjamin, founder and leader of the group, revealed that Nana Tafregya Pallbearers was birthed to bring life to funerals.
They are known for displaying nimble skills through flamboyant coffin-carrying dance forms. They are the life of the funeral.
Being the toast of funerals locally and internationally and charging sometimes in excess of $3,000Benjamin depending on their outfit, Benjamin hinted that the group will increase their charges after the Coronavirus pandemic.
In a bid to possibly recruit Giovani Caleb, Benjamin took the host through some of their steps.
