After triggering one of the fiercest beefs ever to have been witnessed in the female music scene in Ghana, Sista Afia has confessed that Eno is a good rapper.
According to her, Eno is an amazing rapper who is underrated in Ghana.
Sista Afia’s confession will come as a shock to many especially when for some days now she had ignited a lot of controversy after the release of her song ‘WMT’ on April 22.
While Sista Afia did not mention names, some people have concluded that she took jabs at Sister Derby, Wendy Shay, and Efia Odo in the song.
The song saw counter jabs and reactions from Freda Rhymz (released ‘KMT’), and Eno (released ‘Rap Goddess’).
Sista Afia released ‘You Got Nerves’ after that, prompting Eno to also drop ‘Argument Done’. Freda Rhymz, who didn’t want to be left out of the beef party, also released ‘Point of Correction’.
Speaking on the beef in an exclusive interview with MzGee on Showbiz 927 on 3FM, Sista Afia confessed: “I think Eno is underrated 100%.”
According to her, “I will be lying to myself. Eno is an amazing rapper hands down. I have worked with Eno a couple of times; I have been in the studio with Eno a couple of times.”
Clearing the air on the beef that has engulfed the music scene currently, the ‘Weather’ hit singer explained that she was excited about the buzz the ‘beef’ has generated among the females in the industry.
“Let me state this, the things we girls we are doing, I am super excited that now the fans, the people are saying the girls are now like dominating…and I don’t want people to keep swelling my head and making me feel like I’m the one who came up with this whole idea… I’m not the best rapper,” she said.
Asked if she shares the view of some people that Eno is one of the best rappers, if not the best rapper in Ghana, Sista Afia responded that Eno stands tall among the females.
“Well when you come to the female side, I think a lot of the female rappers are good but I will give it to Eno. Like hands down,” she admitted.
As others have said that Eno is even better than some of the males and she can go toe-to-toe with any of them, the musician noted: “I think she has been going toe-to-toe with the male rappers for years so she is capable of doing that.”
