For the first time in many months, Ghana’s coronavirus active cases have gone below the 3,000-mark
In the latest update released by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on its website on Saturday, August 8, the active cases reduced from 3,253 to 2,625.
This has been largely due to the increase in recoveries-cum-discharges, which currently stand at 37,702 with the deaths remaining 206, same as the last update.
Notwithstanding, a total of 436 new cases were confirmed, lifting the country’s cumulative total to 40,533.
