The Black Satellites managed by Coach Karim Zito have been urged by the GFA President, Kurt Okraku, to make themselves and the nation proud.
“We expect Ghana to be represented by boys who are proud to be wear our jerseys, who will walk through the tunnel onto the pitch chest out to fight for glory for our country,” said the GFA boss.
“It’s been a while since we made the U-20 World Cup and that must be broken. That history must be broken by this group of players here. We must play against Nigeria and Ivory Coast. These are sides we have beaten over and over before and we believe we have the quality to beat them and win the group.”
