Head coach of Liberty Professionals Andy Sinason has hailed the performance of his players in their 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in week 21 of the Ghana Premier League.
According to Sinason who joined Liberty in the second half of the season, the victory was a tough one but they utilized the chances they had to pick all three points.
“It was a hard fought win for us, our opponent were fully prepared for the game but we were able to utilize the chances that came our way which led us to victory,” he said.
The scientific soccer lads have won three games on the bounce and are close to avoiding relegation.
Sellas Tetteh’s addition to the technical team has played a major role in getting those results, Sinason indicated.
“I think with my Boss Sellas Tetteh behind me and the boys listening to what we are teaching them,I think they are improving so gradually things will be okay.
“Every body knows Sellas is an affable coach who exactly knows what he does so once we have him,It is a plus for us. His presence alone is an influence on the team,” Sinason said after the game,” he added.
The win lifts Liberty Professionals to 14th position with 24 points after 21 matches played and are out of the drop zone.
They will be hoping to keep their winning streak running as they look forward to grab another win when Sinason and his men play as guests to Accra Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on May 2.
