Chelsea marksman Cole Palmer says his teammates are in full support of their current manager Mauricio Pochettino, despite having a tough run this season.
Palmer has been brilliant by being involved in 32 goals in the Premier League for Chelsea this campaign, yet admits his team will not have improved as massively as they have if not for their manager.
Speaking to the press after Chelsea’s impressive 2-1 win against Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday night, Palmer expressed his satisfaction with Pochettino, indicating the Blues’ progress as effective work done by the Argentine manager.
“All credit to the manager. All the players love the manager and want to fight for him”, he said
Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League last season under a series of managers with Frank Lampard seeing out the final parts of their campaign.

Pochettino’s introduction in relation to getting results with this young talented team had doubts written over it.
However, a fourth consecutive win in the league and a probable place in Europe now does not seem far off, as the Blues lie in sixth place on the standings with one game more to the end of the season.
Despite their season also marred by injuries, the Blues under the guidance of the former PSG boss are set finish above Manchester United and Newcastle – and achievement which would be celebrated widely by the team’s fans given their recent standards
