The Minister for Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development, Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah has warned the general public against persons using his name and identity on Facebook and other social media platforms to defraud innocent people under the guise of offering them opportunities for recruitment into Public Service.

My attention has been drawn to some unscrupulous people using my name and identity on facebook and other social media platforms to defraud innocent citizens under the guise of offering them opportunities for recruitment into Public Service.
I wish to indicate unequivocally that I do not operate any facebook account and for that matter, I dissociate myself from such actions by the perpetrators.
I urge all citizens to avoid such schemes and ensure that they do not fall victim to such scams.
