CSIR Supports Introduction of GM Seeds

[Ghanaian Chronicle]The Open Forum on Agricultural Biotechnology (OFAB) Ghana has lamented the deliberate effort by Anti Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) activists to misinform and mislead the public on the matter of GM crops. The forum, which also includes the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), noted that: "Despite the anti-GMO opposition to empirical science, nothing substantive has been revealed that would dissuade most farmers from the use of genetically modified seeds.
