BusyInternet, a leading Internet service provider has organise a blood donation exercises to support the Korle-Bu blood-bank.
The initiative forms part of activities to mark the company’s 11th Anniversary of providing effective service toward commercial services, social and economic development of the country.
Mr. Praveen Sadalage said the occasion will be climaxed with the donation of a Computer Lab to Al-Waleed Comprehensive Junior High School.
He explained that the first phase of the donation involves eight sets computers and their accessories, Internet connectivity, and a three-month training package for students.
On some of the achievements of the company, Mr. Sadalage said due to the company’s high standard and commitment to customer service it has been adjudged the Charted Institute of Marketing Ghana ISP of the year award winner three consecutive times.
“BusyInternet, with its range of training programmes, has equipped many youth with Information Technology entrepreneurs skills which have been highlighted in trained events, training, debates, as well as a growing community of IT entrepreneurs.
“BusyInternet’s story has not only been featured in Ghanaian media but also in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal for its dynamism and transforming the local economy to meet opportunities of the digital age,†he said.
