UT Bank has assured its customers and the public of continued banking service at its Airport City branch after a minor fire incident last week Thursday morning.
The bank said the necessary health and safety checks at the office were undertaken and the premises declared safe for business by the Ghana National Fire Service.
A statement issued by bank said there were no injuries, casualties or damage to equipment at the branch.
“UT Bank’s Mobile Banking van was moved to the Airport City premises as a back-up to continue delighting our customers with our prompt services. All our other branches across the country remain open for business,†assured Rami Baitie, Head of Corporate Affairs and Marketing of UT Bank.
“The safety and security of our employees, customers and stakeholders are of paramount importance to us, and we are committed to ensuring that our day to day operations are undertaken within strict safety and emergency guidelines,†he added.
“UT Bank wishes to reiterate its commitment to providing excellent products and services to meet the needs of its customers while ensuring that safety is of paramount importance,†the statement said.
