As part of activities lined up by Access Bank to sustain the savings drive in its “Big Deal†Promo, the Bank embarked on a float-procession along the principal streets of Accra last Friday to sensitise potential customers and the general public about the on-going promotion.
The float, which began from the Bank’s Ring Road Central branch in Accra, featured over 200 workers including some senior management staff who stepped out of their various offices and branches to participate in the exercise.
The excited and energised team of young bankers led by a branded trailer walked several miles in the capital city, through the Kwame Nkrumah Circle to Rawlings Park before a grand climax on Oxford Street in Osu.
Speaking to some members of the media on the rationale of the float, the Group Head of Personal and Private Banking Mr. Stephen Abban stated that "The float gives Access Bank an opportunity to educate potential customers and the general public on the recently launched Big Deal Promo while reinforcing the relevance of using savings as a means to secure their financial future.
“The Big Deal promo is already recording massive results as many more customers troop to our banking halls to make their GH₵200 deposit. We are confident that a lot more potential customers will participate in the promo to get rewarded for choosing to save with Access Bank,†he continued.
Mr. Abban concluded by saying that the first mini-draw in the Big Deal Promo will take place on September 30, and over 50 customers should get ready to be rewarded.
The Access Bank “Big Deal†Promo was launched to encourage members of the public to sign up for a range of flexible savings and current account options at Access Bank to empower them financially. Existing customers are also expected to improve their financial well-being by increasing their savings deposits.
Over the past few years, Access Bank has demonstrated its commitment to developing a deep understanding of its customers and continues to roll-out innovative products and services that enable customers to stay ahead in their businesses and individual aspirations.
“Our customers need a little comfort in life, and we will do all we can to make that available through products that promote wealth-creation,†Mr. Abban concluded.
