The Ghana Education Service (GES) is set to recruit new teachers for the 2019/2020 academic year.
The service has however announced new requirements for persons hoping to be enlisted into the service.
A statement signed by Mrs Adjoa Van Vicker, Director of the Human Resource Management Division (HRMD) of the GES, said prospective applications must have “completed and passed the final year College of Education Examination, completed the mandatory National Service and passed the Teacher Licensure Examination.”
Prospective applications must also be willing to work wherever they are posted to.
“Persons who do not meet all the four stated requirements will not be shortlisted,” the statement warned.
GES in the statement announced that “there are also limited vacancies for graduates with early childhood/basic education who meet the above criteria for consideration.”
Mode of application:
Qualified candidates can complete the application form and upload the relevant certificates on www.gespromotions.gov.gh on or before September 15, 2019.
