Women who get a first-class degree earn no more for their extra effort than those with a 2:1, a study suggests.

For the past 40 years, the Bolgatanga Girls Senior High School (BOGISS) has trained a number of female students who have turned out as lawyers, doctors, architects, educationist, nurses and clerks who are contributing to the development of the country.
