President John Dramani Mahama has challenged security chiefs in West Africa to collaborate to fight insurgents and pirates to guarantee peace and security in the sub-region.
He said it was through the collaboration among the ECOWAS member countries that the fight against militant insurgency and piracy could be sustained and won.
President Mahama made the call yesterday, Thursday, June 27, 2013, when members of the Committee of Chiefs of Defence Staff (CDSs) of ECOWAS called on him at the Flagstaff House, Kanda in Accra.
