Campaign to give loans to churches launched
The Christian Community Microfinance Company (CCML) has launched a campaign to give loans to churches at very competitive rates.
The campaign, dubbed “Consolidation of Church Financingâ€, is aimed at supporting churches financially through the loan facility for developmental projects and assets acquisition.
The General Manager in charge of Marketing at the CCML, Mr Joseph Oppong, in an interview with the Daily Graphic, said the CCML had already supported more than 5,000 churches, noting that

Flagstaff House mourns P.V. Obeng
A memorial service was held for Mr P.V. Obeng, a Senior Presidential Adviser, at the Flagstaff House Monday .
The solemn service was attended by the President, Mr John Dramani Mahama; the Chief of Staff, Mr Prosper Bani; presidential staffers and other workers at the Presidency.
The seat of government was in a state of mourning as virtually everyone was in black in memory of Mr Obeng in Accra last Saturday.

Woyome Trial: Court orders 2 ministries to produce letter
The Financial Division of the High Court Monday directed two ministries to produce a letter which challenged the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of CAN 2008’s proposal that a Chinese construction firm be allowed to partake in the bidding process for the stadia construction project.
By the directive, the ministries of Education and Sports are expected to produce the said letter which was alleged to have been signed by then Minister of Education and Sports, Mr Yaw Osafo-Maafo.
