Sandra Oduro Antwi(M) in handshake with Kwame Kwaakye while Cecil Nana Tenkorang looks on
Kwame Kwakye, a loyal MTN Ghana customer, has won 12% off fares across various Emirates travel classes courtesy of the CUGO initiative, a partnership between MTN Ghana and Emirates Airlines.
The collaboration offers exclusive discounts to MTN customers seeking a luxurious yet affordable travel experience, allowing them to save while enjoying premium travel benefits.
Sandra Oduro Antwi, Senior Marketing Specialist at MTN Ghana, explained that the partnership is designed to provide added value to customers planning their trips.
“This partnership brings together two great brands to enhance the travel experience for our customers,” she said.
She highlighted how travelers can plan their trips, including the number of days in Dubai and the activities they intend to undertake.
“We are not just sending our customers off; we are ensuring they remain connected while abroad. Customers traveling with an MTN-enabled device will receive connectivity through MTN’s E-SIM service, allowing them to stay in touch with friends and family during their trip,” she added.
In addition, Ms. Oduro Antwi noted that the winner will receive high-value souvenirs to enhance their travel experience. The duration of the stay in Dubai is flexible, giving travelers the freedom to decide when to return.
She emphasised that this initiative is just the beginning of MTN’s efforts to reward loyal customers. “We are committed to offering more rewards throughout the year and encourage all our customers to consider Emirates when planning their travels for attractive discounts,” she said.
Cecil Nana Tenkorang, Sales Manager of Emirates, stated that since the inception of the partnership in 2014, Emirates has worked closely with MTN to provide exclusive travel opportunities and special offers to MTN customers.
“Together, we have created campaigns that reward loyalty, drive engagement, and deliver real value,” he said.
Kwame Kwakye expressed his appreciation for the initiative. “I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and I’m fully dedicated to MTN. I hope they continue this journey and, if possible, expand it to include more discounts from partner hotels and other sectors to make travel easier,” he said.
