Aduana stuns Ashgold

Obuasi, Nov. 11, GNA – Ashantigold suffered their first defeat in the seven week old Glo premier league when they were stunned by Aduana United by a lone goal at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, Obuasi.   Ashantigold exhibited a good display of football throughout the game but poor finishing especially in the first half cost them.   Aduana in the second half mounted pressure on Ashantigold and succeeded in scoring in the 57th minutes when Francis Larbi, raced through the defence of Ashgold and gave a pass to Richard Arhin to shoot the ball past goalkeeper Isaac Akrong   Ashgold led by their top striker Yakubu Mohammed tried all they could to level up but the defence of Aduana foiled all their moves until the final whistle.   Robert Aryeetey of Aduana was red carded by referee Jonathan Tetteh.      GNA...
