Clinton meets Abbas in Ramallah

Ramallah, NOV.21 (dpa/GNA) - US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank city of Ramallah on Wednesday.   Around 50 Palestinian activists gathered outside the presidential compound where the meeting took place to protest her visit. Witnesses said police in riot gear were in the area.   Clinton was also due to travel to Egypt Wednesday for talks with President Mohammed Morsi.
