Damang mine awards 98 workers

Damang, (W/R), Nov. 22, GNA- Aboso Goldfields Limited, Damang Mine, has awarded 98 workers for their  immense contribution  towards the development of the company.      The workers who have served from five to 10 years received table top fridges, 10 bags of cement and two packets of roofing sheets.       Mr Christo Viljoe, General Manager of the company, said the award ceremony has been instituted for years is to recognise and acknowledge the workers long and meritorious service.     Mr Viljoen said it was through their persistent devotion to duty that they are being awarded and  urged other members of staff to be inspired by demonstrating good work values such as punctuality, loyalty, honesty, trustworthiness, commitment and hard work.      He expressed gratitude to the recipients of the award and other personnel  for their commitment and effort to help make the mine's vision a reality.      Mrs Esther Peprah Nyame, one of the award winners on behalf of his colleagues expressed appreciation to management  for the honour.    GNA...
