Apam, (CR) April 25, GNA - The Bishop of Winneba Diocese of the Methodist Church of Ghana, Right Reverend Kweku Buabeng- Odoom has stated that it was hasty for opposition parties to criticise policies and programmes government had outlined.
He said it would be impossible for the government to assume office one or three months and make the nation a paradise and called on them to give the government some breathing space to implement the policies and programmes.
Bishop Buabeng-Odoom stated this when he addressed the 56th Annual Synod of Winneba Diocese of Methodist Church at Apam in the Gomoa West District of the Central region.

He said Ghana could not be transformed with only one party and called on those in opposition to offer useful suggestions that could enhance the transformation.

He called on Ghanaians to discard the notion that only New Patriotic Party NPP and National Democratic Congress (NDC) could rule the country and called on all other stakeholders to provide the necessary contributions that could step up the growth and development of the country.
Bishop Buabeng-Odoom advised government appointees to avoid acts and utterances that could undermine and stain the image of their administration.
He said the Winneba Diocese of Church had embarked on an aggressive evangelical drive to enable it create more societies for the church to win more souls for Christ.
Mr Thomas Adjei Baffoe, Deputy Central Regional Minister assured that President Nana Akufo-Addo would continue to partner religious bodies to reduce moral decadence that could affect the country’s development.
