Accra, May 5, GNA - Advans Ghana Savings and Loans has inaugurated its Madina branch as part of efforts to bring its services and products closer to the doorsteps of customers.
The Madina branch is the company’s 16th branch in the seven regions of the country aimed at supporting the growth of the many Small and Medium-Scale Enterprises (SMEs) operating within the vicinity through the provision of tailor-made financial solutions.
The new branch is also to provide a conducive environment for business entrepreneurs within the area.
Mr Brieuc Cardon, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, said the new branch formed part of the Advans Ghana’s commitment to offer efficient services to customers through state-of-the art facilities.
He said the company would continue to bring accessible, convenient and tailored banking services closer to its customers and that the branch could boast of a modern infrastructure with spacious banking hall to ensure effective business transactions.
Mr Cardon said the company had worked assiduously to fulfill its main objective of alleviating poverty and maintaining financial sustainability in the country and would continue to sustain and develop innovative ways to serve customers and contribute to economic development.
“Advans Ghana pride itself with strong international shareholders in 10 countries in Africa and Asia offering comprehensive range of financial services to SMEs, farmers, and salaried workers to finance working capital and investment,” he said.
Mr Cardon said the company had introduced flexible terms of business transactions with transparent loan processes to customers, financed businesses through loans without pre-savings requirement for customers.
“We also offer advisory services to customers and offer loans not only on collateral agreement but study their cash flows and interact with them on the progress of their businesses with no commission on transactions on current account,” he said.
The company’s deposit products include current and savings accounts, term deposits and kids’ accounts, and offers Moneygram and Western Union transfer services to customers.
Mrs Barbara Odei, the Chief Operating Officer of Advans Ghana, said the company was driven by technology to ensure that client’s financial deposits were secured in an effective and efficient manner.
She assured customers of the company that it was committed to support the growth of their businesses through customer-centric approach and that the interest rates were calculated based on reducing balance to ensure that the businesses of customers grew.
Mrs Doris Okyere-Owusu, the Chief Executive Officer of Doris Cosmetics and a client of the company, said it had been supportive in expanding her business adding that; “with Advans Savings and Loans customers are allowed to pay back loans on daily basis with ease.”
