Accra, April 12, GNA – Nana Joe Adrakwah, head coach of Ampea Doarkoaa Ladies, is keen on claiming a second win in this year's National Women's League (NWL), which commenced last week.
The defending National Women's League champions, begun this season's campaign in style after recording an impressive 2-0 win over Kumasi Sports Academy at the Nana Ameyaw Park in Techiman.
But the experienced coach indicated that, their clash against Fabulous Ladies would prove to be a stern challenge, having failed to beat the Kumasi based side in last season's league.
In an interview with GNA Sports, coach Adarkwah said they have a lot of respect for their rivals, who have been a difficult side to beat over the past few seasons, but believes they can triumph over them this time round.
''Playing against Fabulous Ladies is always a difficult and we do respect them but on the pitch, we would beat them.
“Last season, we played 1-1 draw in Techiman and 2-2 in Kumasi, so it's going to be a tough encounter but with my young players, I believe we would record positive results in Kumasi,'' Adarkwah said in an interview with GNA Sports.
