Nkawkaw (E/R), Dec. 10, GNA- Nana Effah Opinamang III, the Chief of Obomeng, has called on the Judicial Service to help enforce customary laws to help protect high moral values in the country and deal with the rising levels of disputes in the chieftaincy institution.
He made the call at a meeting with Her Ladyship Sophia Akuffo, the Chief Justice, at Nkawkaw in the Kwahu West Municipality.
He said the current political arrangements do not give traditional authorities the opportunity to impact positively in the country.
He urged the Judicial Service to assist the assembly in constructing an ultra-modern High Court in Nkawkaw as prescribed by the Judicial Service.
Nana Opinamang III promised to offer land for the project and charged the judiciary to get the abandoned Attorney General bungalow renovated for its immediate use.
He therefore entreated the judiciary to computerize the judicial system to help secure their documents.
