Ho, April 17, GNA - Mr Kwame Agbodza, Member of Parliament for Adaklu has presented a bull to the Adaklu Senior High School (ADASEC) for qualifying to participate in the National Science and Maths Quiz competition.
He said he was proud of the qualification because it justified investments in education in the District and charged the students to go all out for the ultimate.
"I am happy investment of the MP's Common Fund in educational infrastructure, teaching and learning materials and teacher motivation is yielding results and we are not stopping here," the MP said.
He said the donation was to motivate the students to work hard towards regaining Adaklu's glory in education and asked the teachers to encourage them to raise the flag of Adaklu high.
"This is to tell them that they are doing something right and should keep it up. The District is among the best in BECE in the region. We were the best in 2015 and it is time we ruled at this level too," Mr Agbodza said.
He restated his commitment to investing in education to "banish ignorance" in the District with "superior knowledge."
Mr Bartholomew Kudzo Hosu, Head Teacher of the School expressed gratitude to the MP for his continued support to ADASEC and education in the District and stated the readiness of teachers to help reposition Adaklu in education.
